For US-based companies

Hire Indian Developers for US Companies

US engineering salaries have outpaced revenue growth for most startups and SMEs. Hiring a five-person team in Gurgaon costs roughly what one US senior engineer does. Here is how it actually works, with the tax, IP, and time-zone parts spelled out so your CFO and your engineering team both get clear answers.

Why US companies hire from India (specifically, not generally)

We do not pitch the generic outsourcing story here. There are real, specific reasons US companies hire from India in 2026, and there are real, specific reasons they should not in some cases. These are the six points that come up in every kickoff call.

The math is hard to argue with

A senior US engineer is roughly four times what the same engineer costs in India. For a five-person team that is around half a million dollars a year you keep in the business. Most of our US clients reinvest that into more headcount, not lower spend.

Real talent depth, not bottom-of-the-barrel hires

India produces around 1.5 million engineering graduates a year and has 5 million plus working IT professionals. The senior bench, the part most clients care about, is the same pool that staffs offshore centres for Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs.

Five hours of EST overlap, three of PST

Our team works 11am to 8pm IST by default. That gives EST clients a five-hour overlap (their morning, our afternoon). PST clients get three to four hours in their morning. Plenty for standups, code reviews, and pairing.

IP and code stay yours, contractually

Every engineer signs a work-for-hire and IP assignment agreement before they touch your code. Source repos sit in your GitHub or GitLab. There is no licensing back to us, no shared ownership, no patent claims. The contract is plain English and our US clients' lawyers usually clear it in a single pass.

No US entity needed, no W-2, no 1099 mess

You sign a B2B services agreement with AllDomainSoft.com Pvt. Ltd. (Indian company), we invoice you in USD, you wire to our US bank or India bank. We are the employer of record for the engineers. You do not file 1099s, you do not deal with IRS withholding, you do not run state payroll.

Predictable monthly cost, no surprise invoicing

Flat per-engineer monthly fee, billed in advance, paid in USD. Includes salary, office, equipment, HR, and payroll taxes on our side. The only variable is if you add or remove people, and that takes 30 days notice either way.

The numbers, per role

US salaries are from the most recent Levels.fyi, Hired, and BLS data for major metros (SF, NYC, Seattle, Austin). India numbers are our actual per-engineer monthly fee multiplied out to a year, billed in USD. Fully loaded on both sides (so US numbers include roughly 25% for benefits, taxes, and overhead; India numbers include everything: salary, office, equipment, HR, payroll).

Role (senior level)US market, fully loadedWith AllDomainSoftSavings
Senior Full-Stack Developer$150K - $200K / year$36K - $54K / year≈ 75%
Senior React / Frontend$140K - $180K / year$32K - $48K / year≈ 75%
Senior Backend (Node / Python / .NET)$150K - $200K / year$36K - $54K / year≈ 75%

DevOps / SRE$150K - $190K / year$36K - $56K / year≈ 73%

What the savings actually look like for a 5-person team

A five-engineer US team (two senior full-stack, one frontend, one backend, one QA) typically costs $700K to $900K per year fully loaded. The same team with us costs roughly $180K to $230K per year. You keep around half a million dollars on the table. That is two more engineers, or six months of runway, or a real marketing budget.

How the US time-zone overlap works in practice

India is 9 hours 30 minutes ahead of EST, 12 hours 30 minutes ahead of PST. The gap is the most common objection on the first call, so let me lay out what the actual workday looks like for each US zone.

US East Coast (EST / EDT)

Their 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM is our 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST

Five solid hours. Standups land in their morning. Engineers in Gurgaon do their async work and code reviews after the overlap.

US Central (CST / CDT)

Their 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM is our 7:30 PM - 11:00 PM IST

Three and a half hours of solid overlap. Comfortable for a daily standup plus one ad-hoc sync. Async fills the rest.

US Mountain (MST / MDT)

Their 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM is our 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM IST

Tighter window. Most Mountain clients run a 9:00 AM standup that fits comfortably, then async until next morning. A small minority of our engineers voluntarily shift to a noon-to-9pm IST shift for clients with this need.

US West Coast (PST / PDT)

Their 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM is our 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM IST

Three hours of overlap in the late Gurgaon evening. The honest answer is this works best when your team is comfortable with async-heavy collaboration. We have run West Coast SaaS engagements successfully for years, but it requires both sides to lean into written communication.

Legal, tax, and IP, for the CFO and General Counsel

The legal and tax shape of working with an Indian B2B vendor is boring once you have done it once. Here is what your finance and legal teams will care about, in plain language.

IP assignment, work-for-hire, NDAs

Standard set of agreements signed by every engineer before they touch your code. We can route any custom IP language through our legal team if you have specific clauses. The base templates have been used by US clients with general counsels at firms like Cooley and Wilson Sonsini without changes.

GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2 friendly working setup

If you process data subject to CCPA or GDPR (a lot of US SaaS does), we can configure the team's access to be region-restricted (US-only data residency), VPN-gated, or fully sandboxed. We have run clients with HIPAA-adjacent and PCI-adjacent constraints. Tell us your compliance posture and we will mirror it on the engineer side.

Tax form W-8BEN-E

We give you our W-8BEN-E on day one. That handles your IRS reporting for payments to a foreign entity. Most US accounting teams have seen this form a dozen times for SaaS subscriptions to international vendors. It is routine.

Background checks and verification

Every engineer we place goes through education verification, previous employment verification, and a criminal background check from a third party (AuthBridge in India, equivalent to Checkr in the US). We can share the verification report for any specific hire if your security team needs it.

Questions from US founders and engineering managers

Can we interview the engineers ourselves before they join?

Yes, every hire. We pre-screen and shortlist, then you do the final interview. Typically a 30-60 minute video call covering technical depth and culture fit. We schedule it within your hours. About 90% of our clients run two rounds, one with a tech lead and one with their engineering manager.

What if we hire someone and they do not work out?

Within the first 30 days we replace at no cost. After 30 days, we still replace, you just pay during the bench period (typically 1-2 weeks). The replacement clause is in writing and has been triggered in roughly 4% of our placements over the last decade.

How do you handle source code access?

Whatever your security model is, we mirror it. Most clients add our engineers to their existing GitHub or GitLab organisation with role-based access. Some clients use VDI (we connect via Citrix or AWS Workspaces). A few require code to never leave their VPC, in which case engineers SSH into a jump host. We have not had a configuration we could not match.

Do you have any US clients we can talk to?

We can arrange a reference call with one or two US clients once we get past the initial qualification stage. We do not publish client names because of NDA terms, but a private reference call is straightforward.

Can I visit the team in Gurgaon?

Yes. Most US clients visit once or twice a year. We arrange airport pickup from Indira Gandhi International (40 minutes from the office), hotel near the office, and a dedicated meeting room. Flights from EWR or SFO are direct.

How quickly can someone start?

From signing the agreement to a developer at their desk, usually 7 to 14 calendar days. We have pre-vetted pipelines for common stacks (React, Node, Python, .NET). Niche skills like ML engineering or Go take 3 to 4 weeks. We share the full pipeline timeline upfront.

Do we pay in USD or rupees?

USD. We invoice in USD, you wire to our US bank account in California, we handle the conversion on our side. Most clients use Wise or a direct bank wire. No FX risk for you.

Is there a minimum team size?

We will work with a single engineer if it makes sense for you, but our model gets economically interesting at three or more. The office, HR, account management overhead is roughly fixed regardless of team size, so a five-person team is meaningfully cheaper per engineer than a one-person team.
